3742. 교만하지 말고 겸손해야... Don't be arrogant and be humble...
어떤 사람은 많이 배워서 남에게 주목받고 존경받았습니다. 그런데 어느 날 교만하여 인생 말년에, 초라하고 비참하게 되었습니다. 출발은 좋았지만 결과가 나쁜 인생이 되었습니다.
Some people learned a lot and were noticed and respected by others. But one day, in the last years of my life, I was arrogant and became shabby and miserable. It started well, but it turned out to be a bad life.
바로 구약시대 남유다 10대, 웃시야 왕 이야기입니다. 그는 처음에는 하나님이 보시기에 정직하게 행하며, 하나님을 찾고 의지하는 겸손한, 왕으로 출발이 좋았습니다. 웃시야 왕 시대 남유다는, 하나님이 돕는 은혜로 경제가 부요하고, 군사적으로도 강한 나라였습니다.

웃시야 왕이 강성해 지고 이름이 넓이 퍼지게 되자, 그는 교만하여 나쁜 시작이 되고, 결말이 비참한 인생이 되었습니다. 잠 16;18. 교만은 패망의 선봉이요 거만한 마음은 넘어짐의 앞잡이니라.

그러므로 여러분 모두 진실로 회개하고, 하나님 아들 죄인을 구원하는 예수님을, 구주로 영접해 믿는 사람들은 전화위복이 되어, 죄 용서받고 마귀의 저주와 멸망에서 구원받고, 진짜 사람 그 영혼이 내세 천국 가서, 왕 같은 제사장이 되어 진주 보석 집에서, 황금 세마포를 입고.
