3204. 죄인을 구원하는 분은 오직 예수 그리스도 뿐입니다. Jesus Christ is the only one who saves sinners.
이 세상에 인류는 다 죄짓고 영혼이 타락했기 때문에, 율법의 요구를 다 완전히 지킬 수 없습니다. 율법은 인간의 죄를 깨닫게 하여 가르치고, 율법을 지키면 거룩하게 살므로 축복은 받지만, 율법을 아무리 잘 지켜도 구원받지 못합니다.

인간이 죄와 저주와 멸망에서 구원받는 것은, 율법을 잘 지키거나 십자가밖에 세상 종교를 믿거나, 우상숭배 하며 절하고 빌거나, 착한 행실로도 절대 구원받지 못합니다. 사람이 율법을 지켜서 구원받는 것이 아니라. 죄인을 구원하는 하나님 아들 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로, 죄와 멸망에서 구원을 받습니다.

즉, 죄짓고 멸망받을 인류의 구원이란, 회개하고 오직 하나님이 구세주 구원자로 보내주신, 그 아들 예수 그리스도를 믿는 사람들 만이, 죄 용서받고 저주와 멸망에서 구원받고, 영혼이 부활의 영생과 천국에 복락을 얻고, 내세 들어가 영원히 살게 되는 것입니다.
