3196. 탐심과 욕심은 우상숭배이다. Greed and greed are idolatry.
이 시대 사람들은 돈 재산이 아무리 많아도, 만족할 줄 모르고 감사하지도 않습니다. 남에게 손해를 끼쳐도 자기에게 유익이 된다면, 양심의 소리를 무시하고 타인의 불행은 생각지 않고, 더 많이 가지고 쌓을려고 합니다.

탐심과 욕심의 마귀가 인간의 마음에 탐심을 넣어, 사람의 욕심은 끝이 없기 때문에, 우상으로 죄짓고 결국에는, 멸망받게 하는 것입니다. 골 3;5. 그러므로 땅에 있는 지체를 죽이라 곧 음란과 부정과 사욕과 악한 정욕과 탐심이니 탐심은 우상숭배니라.

뿐만 아니라 인류는 다, 크고 작은 탐심과 욕심으로 죄를 짓고, 그 영혼이 죽어 있습니다. 죽은 사람에게 돈 재산 권세 명예가 무슨 소용이 있습니까? 죽은 사람은 스스로 살아날 가망이 전혀 없습니다.

그러나 창조주 사랑에 하나님은, 인류가 다 죄짓고 죽은 그 영혼을 살리고, 구원하여 다시 자녀 삼고 금세도 축복해 주시고, 내세는 영원한 영생과 천국에 복락을 주시기 위하여, 아무 죄 없는 그 아들 예수 그리스도를, 이 땅에 구세주로 보내 주셨습니다.

롬 10;9-10. 네가 만일 네 입으로 예수를 주로 시인하며 또 하나님께서 그를 죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 얻으리니. 사람이 마음으로 믿어 의에 이르고 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르느니라.

예수님 믿고 죄와 멸망에서 구원받으면, 꼭 최고가 될 필요도 없고 더 유명해 짏 필요도 없고, 큰 부자가 될 필요도 없고, 남을 부러워 하지도 않고 미워하지도 않고, 하나님께 구원받은 것이 너무 감사하게 되는 것입니다.
If you believe in Jesus and are saved from sin and destruction, you don't have to be the best, you don't have to be more famous, you don't have to be rich. You don't envy or hate others, and you become so grateful that you have been saved by God.
엡 2;8. 너희가 그 은혜를 인하여 믿음으로 말미암아 구원을 얻었나니 이것이 너희에게서 난 것이 아니요 하나님의 선물이라. You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.
그러나 믿지 않는 사람들은 탐심과 욕심으로 죄짓고 살면서도, 죄인을 구원하는 하나님 아들 예수님을 믿지 않기 때문에, 하나님과 원수 되어 육신이 죽는 날에, 진짜 사람 그 영혼이 진노의 심판을 받고, 내세 지옥으로 끌려가 영원히 불타게 되는 것입니다.
