3149. 사람의 생명과 믿음은 가장 귀한 것이다. Man's life and faith are the most precious.
믿음이란 현재 보이지 않는 것을, 실제로 있는 것 같이 보고 마음으로 상상하고 믿는 것입니다. 히 11;1-2. 믿음은 바라는 것들의 실상이요 보지 못하는 것들의 증거니. 선진들이 이로써 증거를 얻었느니라.
Belief is to see what is currently invisible, to imagine and believe in what is actually there. Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see. It was their faith that made our ancestors pleasing to God.
세계적인 신학자 유진 피터슨은, 상상력에 지배당하면 선한 것과, 아름다운 것을 볼 수 있다고 말하였습니다. 우리가 세상의 답답한 현실만 바라 보면, 두려움을 이길 수 없습니다. 그러나 현실 너머에 있는 것을 믿음으로 바라 보고, 인내하며 말씀을 읽고 성령님을 의지해 기도하고 나가면, 가난 고통 저주 낙심을 밟고 일어 설 수 있습니다.

그러나 믿지않는 사람들은 아무리 잘 먹고 잘 살아도, 진짜 사람 그 영혼이 죄와 멸망에서 구원받지 못하여, 육신이 죽는 날에 심판받고 내세 지옥의 불 가운데 뜰어져. 영원히 불타게 되는 것입니다. 계 20;15. 누구든지 생명책에 기록되지 못한 자는 불못에 던지우더라.
