3142. 교장 선생님의 훈시. the principal's advice
지금 각 학교의 졸업 시즌이 옵니다. 전에 어느 미션 중 고등학교 졸업식에서, 교장 선생님이 졸업생들에게 배움이란, 크게 두 가지로 요약해 말씀하셨습니다. 하나는 자기의 앞가림을 하는 것이고, 또 하나는 사회에서 더불어 살아 가는, 지혜와 지식을 기르는 것이다.
Graduation season for each school is coming now. At a high school graduation ceremony during one of the missions, the principal summed up two main things: learning for graduates. One is to take care of oneself, and the other is to cultivate wisdom and knowledge that lives together in society.
사람은 동물과 달리 지식을 배워서 실천하는 것이고, 사람이 글과 지식을 안다는 것은 남을 사랑하고 은혜를 베풀며, 선하고 정직하며 거룩하게 사는 것이고, 고난과 역경과 큰 시련의 강을 만나 혼자 건너지 못 할 때, 자신의 부족함을 깨닫고 조용한 시간을 내어, 무릎을 꿇고 창조주 하나님을 찾아 도움읋 청하는 지혜를 얻는 것이다.

사람이 많이 배웠다 해서. 하나님을 등지고 세상에 나가 죄짓고, 피 땀 흘리며 가난 고통 저주로 살지 마십시요. 하나님 약속의 말씀과 그 아들 예수님을 굳게 믿고, 세상과 불신자를 본받지 말고, 날마다 말씀을 읽고 성령님을 의지해 동행하며, 도움을 청해 기도하며 믿음으로 사십시요.
