2764. 룻의 믿음. Faith of Ruth
성경 마태복음 1장에 기록된, 예수 그리스도의 족보에 모압 여인 룻이 기록되어 있습니다. 사사 시대의 이스라엘에 흉년이 들어, 엘리멜렉은 아내 나오미와 두 아들을 데리고, 모압 지방으로 이사 갔습니다. 그리고 두 아들은 그 지방 모압여인, 오르바와 룻을 각각 아내로 삼아 결혼하였습니다. 이 시대에 사람들은 자기 꾀로 일하는 사람이 많습니다. 누가 어떤 일을 하더라도 사람이 보던 안 보던, 하나님은 다 보시기 때문에 최선을 다 해야 합니다. 자기의 일이던 남의 일이던 충실히 최선을 다 하여 일하다 보면, 어느 순간에 다 보시고 계시던 하나님께서, 반드시 축복해 주시는 것입니다.
